 Produced in Kent is a membership organisation dedicated to promoting local food, drink, products and services in Kent. Their role is to promote local and seasonal produce and provide support and services for Kent businesses in the food, drink and artisan craft sectors.
Produced in Kent was formed in November 2005 having previously been known as Kentish Fare, and is a not-for-profit membership organisation funded through a joint venture between Hadlow College and Kent County Council.
One of Produced in Kent's roles is to campaign on behalf of its members, to raise the profile of local products and the issues surrounding the local food agenda. They also publish a selection of Food Trails throughout the county which includes a walking guide and information on the history and traditions of the area.
